Maud Craandijk is a Visual Artist from the Netherlands. Born on the 13th of September 1996, she currently lives in the centre of Amsterdam and working from her studio in Amsterdam Noord. Having completed her Bachelor of Arts at Academie Artemis Amsterdam, the University of Allround Styling and Design.

Maud is fascinated by the raw, pure and real side of life and mostly inspired by culture & nature all around the world. Due to gaining the perspective that happy faces create happy faces, she grew into creating powerfull, expressive and positive art. Over the years she learned to express and develop emotions on canvas which turns vulnerability into powerfull. This is shown in her abstract and nude art.
